Hard Rock Hotel

Hi all, got a couple of questions about the Hard Rock Hotel that hope someone can help with.

I believe that there will be a fridge in the room, if this is correct can someone advise on what size this is likely to be, i.e. mini bar size, or bigger? Would it be suitable for storing milk and foodstuffs in for 2 people? The idea is to have a quick breakfast snack before hitting the parks early.

Another question, has citywalk changed much since we were last there in 2010, and is there anywhere there to grab a quick breakfast that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks

The Fridge is a reasonable size, about the size of the ones in the Disney resorts. Possibly a little bigger. We certainly got a lot of cans in. There is Starbucks for a reasonable breakfast. If you look on universal site you can see all the food places.

OK so best and cheapest breakfast on city walk is cinnabon! If you're into your cinnamon buns and coffee

When we do Hard Rock we always grab something from Emack and Bolio's Marketplace, on ground floor of hard rock. Takeaway coffee, muffins and pastries, and munch whilst we wait for the boat.
You can buy cereal and smoothies etc in there i think.

Same as above. Grab something from Hotel and eat on way to the park.

This was getting refurbed when we were there last October. Would have been handy.

We tend to eat at either Cinnabons in IoA or boulangier, the French patisserie at the entrance to Universal.

Both reasonably priced and great for some early morning people watching

We used to go into the park for early entry and I would sit with my LO in her pram and have a coffee and a pastry or bagel in Starbucks why the hubby and my 9 year old ran off to do the Harry Potter rides. Think I got the better end of the deal hahaha

We stayed at HRH last August and found the deli place downstairs that serves breakfast had no prices up at all ... wasn't about to start asking how much everything was so we walked down to Cinnabon Think the next day we went to starbucks in the studios.
I doubt you'll recognise Citywalk if you haven't been since 2010, it has changed massively.
