Travellers Cheques At Bahama Bay

I just wondered if anyone knows if you can cash travellers cheques at the reception at Bahama Bay Resort? And if you can how much please?

We have used Bahama Bay a number of times but have never cashed any TCs there. Always done it either at Publix or Walmart on Highway27 or in Disney.

I was advised recently that they no longer cash travellers cheques at the Bahama Bay Reception. However, there are a couple of local banks nearby that can probably help you.

That said, I believe that travellers cheques are now been phased out in favour of the currency cards (like FairFX, Post Office Currency Card or ones available from travel agencies.

These are much easier to use - just preload and use like a debit card. You can also keep track of your expenditure online.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, I will take a mixture of spending options. Will miss travellers cheques though, I know Disney still cash them but we are not doing Disney this trip.
