Cirque du Soleil Or Blue Man Group?

Hi Guys

I know looking at our Countdown our visit is AGES away but on July 2nd its my Dads Birthday, 44 (i think! )
He's spending his birthday this year in Afghanistan so Mum and I want to do something nice

We've narrowed it down to Cirque du Soleil Or Blue Man Group.
We are staying at Disneys Caribbean Beach and aren't hiring a car, so getting To Universal by Taxi will be expensive..I think?
Blue Man Group is Cheaper than Cirque Du Soleil, but with the Taxi there and back, it might even itself out?
We also Love the Hard Rock Cafe, so would most likely eat there
But I've heard that some people have been so bored during the show

Cirque Du Soleil is in Down Town Disney, so we can use the Disney transport, and use our DPP to eat at Planet Hollywood and then head over

How far in advance can you book both also please?

See, i've formed an argument for both, but because i've never been to either I can't made a decision!

Thanks in advance and sorry for rambling!

Same here I prefer Cirque Du Soleil over BMG. BMG is a bit like marmite you either love it or hate it

I really enjoyed the BMG when we seen them last time and I will go back again...but I know some people who thought it was really over-rated and therefore disappointing. Maybe the cirque is your better bet as not as many mixed reviews.

sign up to their website...cirquedusoleil as you might get a discount nearer the time (about a month in advance), otherwise I think you can book up 6 months in advance.

We've seen both, and they are both amazing and worth every penny, however our household would vote for 'Blue Man Group' its original and funny...
