Mobile Alamo don't do 8?

Been looking at the Alamo website. Not the best site to use but from what I could work out it doesn't do 8 people vehicles? For a supposedly big company I find that strange.

I think it jumps from 7 seater to 12 seater. Could be wrong though! X

So groups of 8 - 11 don't go to America in their eyes?

Well, clearly yes but to be fair no way are you getting eight people and eight suitcases into an eight person vehicle.

You just need to pick the car that closest matches your needs, in this case a 12 seater van or two smaller cars.

I also don't think that's just Alamo. It'll be all of the hire companies. There's little to choose between them car wise unless it's a specialist company.

Just back from Miami and they had an 8 seater section a whole row of Toyota Sierras.

Not sure about MCO.

There you go, I was wrong!

Now the big question, would the boot get eight cases in it... ? !

Are the 12 seaters very big? The people who will be driving are only used to normal cars. Two are women who are quite short.

It doesn't matter about luggage anyway. You pick the car up at Disney...

I'm 5ft2" and was perfectly happy driving a seven seater Chrysler Town & Country in May. The lanes and parking spaces are wider than they are here and with the cars being automatic that's one less thing to worry about.

The 12 seaters tend to be vans so of that puts the drivers off then try to locate one of the eight seaters mentioned above or two smaller cars.

Driving in the states is incredibly easy though so don't be put off. X

We've had an 8 seater van before and it's the same size as a 12 seater. It just has the last row of seats removed. Can't remember where we got it from as it was a couple of years ago now but even as a 12 seater, there was plenty of room for 8 passengers and all baggage.

I wonder if the Disney depot has less choice than at the airport?
