Disney Dream dining.
Hi guys. I have booked 4 night Bahamas cruise for 2017 and was wondering if we can eat in the buffet restaurant for the whole stay?

I believe the buffet may be closed on first and last nights but not 100% sure. Other nights it's entirely up to you where you eat, buffet, room service, your rotational dining restaurant.
Our first cruise we were on a table of 10, everyone was there the first night as the buffet was closed that night, after that the others at the table were no shows every night. If you don't intend to eat in the main restaurants I think it's a good idea to let them know so they don't hold off putting orders in thinking you're running late. |

Is this your first cruise? If it is, I would question why you'd want to miss the main dining rooms.
The PP is right, Cabanas is not open on the first or last nights but it also doesn't serve buffet at dinner, it's still table service with a little selection from each MDR menu available. Cabanas is where they train the servers, so you may often find your server will have a supervisor following them around. For breakfast and lunch .. big buffet!

I'd also say try the MDRs - we did our first DCL in December and really enjoyed the MDRs as they were all different.
Cabanas was great for breakfast & lunch though |

Thanks guys. It's just the kids can be fussy and the Buffett would suit them really well. I think I will have to do the rotational dining if there is a good choice.

Every night, they have plain chicken, burger, pizza, chips, veg and pasta on the childrens menu (although they can order from the adult menu too if they/you prefer).
Have a look at the DCL Blog website to see menus.
