Fast passes when only a few nights onsite...

How would it work with Fast passes if we booked 1-2 nights onsite without DDP at the start of the holiday? Trying to think up a few different plans to see what suits. Would I be able to book fast passes 60 days out even if only onsite for a few days? Likelihood is that we will do the 5 days minimum to qualify for free dining (if released obviously) but just thinking out loud!

Yes you book the first 5 ( onsite days ) straight away then the rest of the days on a 60 day rolling basis ( offsite days)

I didn't realise that. So am I right in thinking that as we have a 21 day ticket but only staying onsite for the first 7, we can book for day 9 60 days in advance even though we will be offsite at that point?

Yes, but it is 60 days in advance of day 9 and on a day-by-day basis (i.e. you would have to wait a day to book day 10, wait another day to book day 11, etc).

Whereas for the first 7 days you will be able to book all of them in one go 60 days in advance of the check-in date.

Thanks all I thought it worked that way but wasn't 100% sure!

Onsite stays determining me our whole holiday so waiting for April before we decided if onsite or not!
