Also wondering this! We missed it last year by only a few days so hoping mibby Universal will follow Disney by starting it earlier in September this year

Very weirdly a Universal sub-page went up a few days ago to say it was starting on the 20th of September this year but I don't know if this is accurate. For one reason they usually announce it on the HHN twitter feed/HHN website first. Another is that it's a Wednesday and that would be a weird day to have opening night, they usually don't add Wednesdays until the later weeks. It would be opening a weekend later than last year too, hopefully there'll be an announcement soon
