Air Canada

Has anyone flown with these? Are they reputable (sorry if this sounds a daft question)
What’s the diff between Air Canada/Rouge?
TIA

We have booked, but not travelled yet.
They are part of the star alliance with lufthanza and united, so definitely reputable.
I think the rouge is there internal flights company

That’s great that’s more reassuring. I just haven’t ever come across them really before(or it could be as I hadn’t thought of indirecting through Toronto before).
I take it Rouge has no IFE

Flown with them many times and are more or less on par with BA. Haven’t tried Rouge but only because I like my IFE

Don't forget that if you fly indirect via Canada you'll need their version of Esta, even if just transferring planes.

Yes I’ve read that thank you. So if I fly to Canada for a couple of nights then onto Orlando would I need an ETA for Canada and ESTA for Orlando

On my trip to Ottawa last summer we flew with both arms and the flights were the same in terms of comfort, food and service. I don't know if we were just lucky and they were maybe not using a "rouge" plane but our plane has IFE and the only noticeable difference were that the crew were younger, friendlier and wore more modern uniforms. Would not hesitate to book with either again.

That is exactly how I would have put it.
I too have flown both and had no issues, though I would be reluctant to fly rouge again due to the IFE and sub par leg room. I think you get what you pay for with Rouge though.
