Seaham hall is lovely but we were a little disappointed on our last visit by the food and how busy the spa was as there was not enough seats for everyone.
The best food we had was black swan at hemsley tasting menu

We had a lovely short break at the Devonshire Arms and the tasting menu was sublime.

The Wensleydale Heifer near Leyburn. Themed rooms and a great restaurant. If you get one of the chocolate rooms you even get a stash of chocolates in the bedside cabinets!

Another one of our favourites - we've stayed in the Shooter's Room and the James Herriot room. ( James Herriot had his honeymoon there all those years ago. ) Food is great there.

I love Beck Hall in Malham. The hotel is in a gorgeous setting next to a stream and is lit up by fairy lights outside at night. The walks around that area are stunning.
I went when it was warm, but it would be really cosy by the fire in this weather.
