booking via Expedia

has anyone had any problems with booking via Expedia ?

in particular i'm thinking of being offered a different or cheaper room to the one booked

a very long time ago we used Expedia and when we turned up we were moved to a cheaper sister hotel (this was in europe)

i would appreciate any feedback / experiences

We have used Expedia numerous times and not just for Florida. We have never had any issues with being given a different room. We were due to go the Las Vegas the year of the volcano eruption and they automatically refunded us all of our money without even having to ask.
The only thing I will say is check if you have a resort fee to pay when you get there as this sometimes makes an Expedia holiday more expensive than a regular travel agent where it is already included.

Used them numerous times for Orlando (they have a great Quidco rate) and never had any issues at all
