Caravanners, if you havetoilet/washroom facilities..

do you use them. Sorry to lower the tone and probably TMI but I was surprised when on holiday last week, the amount of people don't/won't use them

Yes we do. If the site has shower facilities we use the shower in the toilet block but we do go on sites with no facilities so we use the ones in our van.

As the person who had to empty the ‘thunder bin’, number 2s were only allowed in exceptional circumstances - in fact we used the site facilities whenever possible.

My in-laws don’t use theirs in their camper van. The toilet is for emergency use during the night although I think they still try to use the communal facilities.

Over to the Communal wash block. Usually there is a block with showers. toilets. washing up facilities etc. Bloomin' cold at night.

We don’t have a tourer now but we had one for over 20 years. We did a mix of Caravan Club sites and rallies. On Club sites the toilet/shower blocks were immaculate so we used them rather than our caravan facilities. Husband was very generous and let us use the caravan toilet at night !

If we were on rallies we had to use our own as they didn’t usually have facilities.
