Disney fast pass tier

We haven't done Disney in a good few years but are staying on site next year.

Can someone explain the tier system please or are there any guides on it?

Right, here's the quick guide:

• You can book 3 fastpasses per person per day before you travel.
  
• Of those 3 fastpasses each day, you can only pick one attraction from Tier 1. The rest must be from Tier 2. (You can pick all 3 from Tier 2 if you want).
  
• Once you've used the 3 fastpasses on the day, you can then book a fourth (and then a fifth, and so on) and this can be from any tier.
  
• Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom have fastpass tiers. Magic Kingdom does not have tiers and you can choose any 3 fastpasses at MK.

Just to add I found that it was easier to change fast passes once I had them booked for each day.

Ie. I booked Test Track and two tier twos at Epcot but then managed to bring forward Test Track an hour and did the same with the other two, thereby meaning that all three rides were done earlier and we got a fast pass for Frozen for that afternoon.
