Themeparktickets.co.uk I'm fuming. Update #12

After reading yesterday that the Universal tickets would be going up imminently I tried to buy some from themeparktickets.
For some reason the payment didn't go through - twice. There isn't a problem with the card and it was after hours.
Today the price has gone up and the person who I spoke to said they won't honour the price.

I'll buy elsewhere.

Try Orlando attractions.com best for customer service IMO

Did you ring your bank to see why the transaction was being rejected or could you not have tried another card?

Wow , I put the heads up about this but didn’t think they would jump that much. Atd have the adults fir kids back on which at first glance seems the best value for universal £234 . Not looked at everyone though yet .

Try Orlando Ticket Deals, at the moment they're still showing £225 for this year and £228 for next, but this could change at any time.

I had problems paying my Virgin fly/drive balance by credit card online this week too. Nothing wrong with card, it just wouldn't go through. Ended up paying by debit card (which wasn't ideal but we had the funds ready so not a real problem). Maybe there is a problem with some transactions in general, so I would try another seller but have a back up card ready if possible to get the lower price if it is still available elsewhere

Looking at the companies in the Yellow Banners, the only ones who have not increased their tickets yet are Attraction Tickets Direct and Orlando Ticket Deals. Having booked with Orlando Ticket Deals I know they issue the real tickets and you can book with a £10 per person deposit. Not sure I would hang around as if they see the others are more expensive they may increase their prices too! Good Luck!

Yes, it wasn't the bank.

Yes - I jumped and put a deposit of £10 on themeparktickets for next year - and very thankful I am to you for your post
