We really enjoyed rivers of light. They have now built the huge stadium so I would imagine they will put another show there in the future.
Primeval whirl & stitch won’t be missed by us |

Although, yes, that's strictly true it's also the case that they've been postponed indefinitely. Which probably/possibly means they've been cancelled.
I suspect Spaceship Earth will get some sort of minor refurb - possibly in time for the 50th anniversary - but perhaps nothing more than that. And I can see the Mary Poppins attraction (whatever that was going to be) being shelved permanently. I also see that the multi-level Festival Center in Epcot is going to change and not be what was previously announced. I suspect something cheaper and simpler will be provided instead.

"Rivers of Light, Primeval Whirl & stitch’s Great Escape confirmed closing... and tears were shed by none."
A boring show, a painful ride, and an attraction thats been all but closed for a few years now. |

we all really liked rivers of light. Animal kingdom is special at night and we found the show a nice colourful addition.

Well, except for those of us shedding a few tears.
I mean, just because you didn't like 'em doesn't mean that applies to everyone else.

Wasn’t there talk of retheming Dinoland to an Indiana Jones area? The ride layout of Dinosaur is the same idea as the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland California.

I’m not sure an Indiana Jones themed area would fit in with Animal Kingdom’s theme.
(Mind you, you could say the same about Pandora).

No but I’m sure I read that somewhere. Maybe not but Primeval Whirl closing surely means something.
