We are looking at similar dates to you. Although, I’m in no rush to book because of the Covid situation.

It’s the most popular time to go. Lots of children and teachers need to be back for exam results. Also better weather in early August as it’s just before peak hurricane season.

After speaking to BA, I was informed, you will get a full refund if Covid restrictions still in place (time of travel), can cancel your flight and receive a voucher if not happy with the destination you are travelling too.
Will get a full flight change free of charge for any reason if you need to change.
For ex military, police serving, there is also 10% discount on direct flights.
For 4 of us (with the 10%) £2470 direct.
Any idea how to get a flight + hotel (UK airport and not full nights in Orlando) with these flights to turn it into a holiday rather than just a flight only? I can't figure out how to do it so am assuming that you can't go through the package route.

Thanks!

I wanted to do the same, but through my military discount, I couldn't.
I rang and they said no, however I think you can book as a package if you ring them

We booked with BA at the weekend 18th July - 8th August, 3 Adults and 1 child(13).
Flights were coming out at £2259, I did it though the customize your trip tab on their website and added the Hilton at Gatwick the night before to turn it into a package so we only pay a deposit.
I also added 4 nights club level at the Hard Rock hotel and a Ford Edge or similar for the last week and the total came to $4627 with a£550 deposit.
I've booked the first 10 days direct with Disney along with tickets, the last week in a villa through AirBnB and Universal tickets with Attraction tickets.

It's just the 10% discount site where I seem to be able to do flight only but not the package.

On the BA website if you click Flight and hotel just above where you put your dates and Airport info there is a blue "Create Custom Trip", Click that then start custom trip and you can then build whatever configuration you want.
There's another family coming with us and when we phoned to do one booking it was £300 dearer than doing two separate bookings our self this way.

Is that the site referred to in the original post with the 10% discount on flights?
