Thank you for updating us buryboy. Even though Emma may be struggling a little more at the moment she has done so well. Sending big hugs to you all.

Well time for a little update .
Thankfully all relatively quiet on the Western front. We have fared much better than many in this annus horribilis. Really glad University was decided against as it sounds like it’s been so difficult for Uni students this year Emma has been working through since my last update . So that’s been a positive as she struggles on other days with not much to focus on. Weight hasn’t been great and every attempt to increase daily intake results in another round of refusal She is suffering a bit with upper back pain . Her low weight obviously isn’t good for her bones . She has had X-rays which shows no major issues but could do with getting to the bottom of it Not much progress on the therapy front , she has finally has one zoom session but nothing set for investigation into possible autism DS has been working hard-ish for college ( just in one day a week and rest online ) and thankfully no isolation . He has managed to grab a few Xmas run-in shifts at M&S . Glad DW has done the get-ups for the 6 and 7am shifts DW has carried on working at school . She has found it really tough but a couple of weeks rest now will do her good I got my 15 year badge at work today and a nice gift card but they have certainly had their pound of flesh this year We managed a really unexpected week in Lanzarote at half term so realise we have been more fortunate than many despite being under restrictions since late July Just wishing everyone a Merry Xmas and a better New Year than this has been

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear from you. Youngest has now been to doctors, actually for another unrelated issue brought on by covid. I told the doctor everything abot weight loss, lack of eating tiredness and he spoke to her lovely, weighed, measured her. He has said she needs 5kg on at least by summer, said to eat what she wants over christmas but need iron rich food and protein. I did explain this is the issue haha she has agreed, more so because he said bloods would need to be taken otherwise and she terrified of that. Fingers crossed we mightve got through to her.
