Atol Certicate Help
I've just checked my atol certificate (see screenshoots) my atol number and atol certificate issuer are different (I think) from information on caa website.
It also says who is protecting your trip- Thomas Cook Scheduled atol no 1179. I'm so confused.com Edited at 08:14 PM. |

Not sure what I am looking at, but if the top one is your ATOL certificate and the bottom one is from the CCA website they both say 1179? Unless I missed something?

Is the confusion between the left hand box which says TC retail and the right box which says 1179 which the CAA website says is TC operations? (I didn't spot the TC scheduled, is that from elsewhere?)
Are you worried that your holiday won't be covered by ATOL?. I would have thought from this that the cert is prob valid. Or is it that you have been asked on a form to say who issued it? If so I would just put down exactly what it says and then put the atol number given in brackets next to it perhaps. Did you by any chance buy a TC package holiday at a TC shop? Edited at 08:23 AM. |

Yes I'm confused with the atol certificate issuer and the atol number.
Yes it was a package holiday booked in store with TC. I remember when booking they said it was a TC schedule holiday as it was a split stay (1 week on site / 1 week off site plus flights). The TC schedule part is further up atol certificate. I know I'm atol protected and just over thinking things and know I'll be fine with getting refund. I've a new holiday booked and travel agent will help me fill in atol paperwork if I need help. |
