Good shout. We don’t really fly enough to concern ourselves with tier status so I’m still holding out for returns. Fingers crossed with the pattern that’s emerging, my returns will be released 2 weeks today. I’ve got 4 UC booked on the outgoing so I’m not giving those little beauties up 😂

Return flights in EC are currently either 35,000 or 47,500 miles for September next year. Are these likely to drop back down to 25,000 at any time? I'm far from an expert in finding reward flights but I've never seen such a variation in the miles required before.

Are you flying to Manchester? Those amounts are for indirect flights.

You did very well getting those UC ones. The cancellation has put me back to 285000 Miles so I am sitting pretty for a Nov flight or maybe a quick UC one in March 21.
I hope your research on release dates work out well.

Yes, to/from Manchester. So you spend more miles flying indirect? I clearly still haven't got used to the new layout of the website.
Thank you Edit - just checked and the 35,000 is for direct and 47,500 is for indirect. I was hoping they would be 25,000 as they are off-peak dates. I used 25,000 plus £240 this September just gone. Edited at 09:15 AM. |

Oh hold on. Your outgoing date is at peak time isn't it? That would make your outgoing peak of 22,500 and your incoming off-peak at 12,500 (hence 35,000 direct returns). You won't get 25,000 miles return unless you travel on 7th September or later :-(

Oh the happy days of 250000 miles plus. And earning 100000 a year😊 job changes ended all that (own choice) and my flights are much shorter and mainly Ryanair! Still saving and got 6 economy returns just recently for 20k. Our days of UC are gone.
We're looking at August for next year but prices currently...No chance. Good luck to all waiting for their returns. Maybe see you on the plane. We'll be turning right 😂😂 Now where's that lottery ticket |
