Neither Universal nor Seaworld sell 7-day tickets, so you can't get 7-day tickets for those. Universal does sell a 5-day ticket but this works out more expensive than the 14-day Explorer tickets. Also, that ticket has to be used within a 7 day period - you can't pick 5 days to visit over a 3 week period (for example). Similarly, Seaworld only sells 1, 2 and 3-day tickets plus 14-day tickets. You mentioned you wanted to visit Discovery Cove (DC) in which case you automatically get 14-day tickets for Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch anyway as part of your DC ticket.

Disney does do a 7-day ticket and you could get that. At the moment the 2020 7-day ticket is £20 cheaper than the 2020 14-day ticket so there is a small saving there. However, often Disney runs a deal where the 14-day ticket is the same price as the 7-day ticket so I'd suggest waiting until that offer is on again. And admittedly I assumed you wanted to spend more than 7 days at Disney?

Generally, it only works out cheaper to buy shorter tickets if the number of days are fairly small. For example, it can be cheaper if you only want 2 days at Universal or 1 day at Seaworld. Otherwise, if you want more than 3 days at any of the groups of parks then it tends to work out better to get 14-day tickets.

BTW, this is sort of why I asked how many days you were thinking of spending at each set of parks.
Excellent help, thank you. I apologise for not replying sooner but I am a teacher and we've been on class residential to an area where there was no phone service or wifi!

I think I will probably go with the 14 day options for disney and universal and then get the discovery cove ticket with the other 3 parks included.

Thanks again, you've been really helpful.
