Stress...Overbooked OKW July/ August

Just rang Disney to check availability for the date I want for next July and ask if I could be put on a wait list. She put me n hold n check the inventory n then Got told that the dates I want is very oversold and won’t become available at all.
Then I ask her about availability found on Expedia and other websites, if it doesn’t get sold does it go back to Disney? She says it won’t feed back to UK. It will go to USA inventory. She basically tell me to go ahead n book if via other websites and she definitely don’t see it become available at all.

Is she right? Should I wait for miracle to happen? N give up now n book thru Expedia n no free dinning n more expensive. Which could potentially means not going as it’s getting too expensive! 😫😫😭😭

I have noticed it's on other websites too, which I don't think I have seen in previous years. I would like to know the answer too as trying to get dates in August and hardly anything on the website for any months!

Have you tried David for dvc points. You will get a really good price and free parking at the resort and parks.

You could also buy the dining plan if needed

I’ve been stalking the website daily as of April n only manage to get a block 6 nights for July. Then manage to get another 4 nights. Have email them before but nothing. All just told me to wait. Until this cast member tells me yesterday there’s no hope. I nearly cried!

We had free dinning before and it save us lots of money. It would be nice to have it all the way. Just have to rethink our budget now.

Managed to book that missing night with U.S. Disney. Had to pay upfront but free cancellation up to 5 days before.
Pros no need to switch hotel or room ( hopefully).
Cons No free dinning for second half of our trip.
