Fastpass+ at Swan and Dolphin?

Thinking of the swan and dolphin resort but I see they don’t do magic bands? I’m confused as I haven’t been to Disney since Fastpass+ and Magic Bands where introduced so can someone explain how it all works staying at the Swan and Dolphin, can I still make fastpass+ reservations and can I buy a magic band from the UK ?

Anyone can book FP+ at 30 days before but only the Disney resorts offer the 60 days option - essential for popular rides like Flight of Passage. I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think Swan & Dolphin are included in this. You can buy a Magic Band in any of the Disney shops at WDW and link it to your MDE account - even if staying offsite. There are a few non Disney hotels offering EMH benefits etc. now but I don’t know which ones.

Yes you can book fast passes at 60 days. You will need to link your reservation to MDE. We got our magic bands on our first day as they were part of the offer on our tickets. Even if you don’t have magic bands all the information from MDE will be linked to your tickets.

We you get Magic hours staying at the Hotels.

We stayed at The Dolphin in the summer. We really enjoyed our stay.

So you don’t need a magic band if you don’t want it? You can still make fast pass reservations and enter fastpass queues with your park ticket etc ?

Yes that’s right, you can just use your park ticket to enter fastpass queues etc. As your park ticket is linked to your MDE account and everything is on there.

Only problem we found was that some rides link magic bands to ride photos as nowhere to view them after,we didn’t realise this so haven’t got photos of us on the rides on sdmt,pirates of Caribbean,frozen,and haunted mansion😩I’m gutted😪Would have bought one magic band if we had known.

Did the ride photos still appear on the screens as you exit the rides as when I’ve been in Disneyland Paris I’ve just taken a picture of the picture with my iPhone not too concerned with a little bit of writing /ID number going across the middle of the photo
