Howl o Scream transport
I release this may have been asked before, but having searched through previous topics I can't really find an answer.
We are thinking of doing Howl O Scream for one night this month. We will have the day pass and would probably use the Mears shuttle in the morning. My main question would be how we would get back to Universal after Howl o Scream? I've checked Uber and it does show as an available route (approx. $115) but I have no idea if this would actually be available on the night. The second question would be if it's too much to be there all day and all night? I release we could look into an over night stay but this is pretty much the same price as an uber anyway and we would still need transport back the next day (I wouldn't have thought we would want to stay during the next day to get the return Mears shuttle). Thanks! |

Staying at the park all day and then early for HOS is easily fine, we did it last year. Just get a few coffee breaks throughout the day and maybe do the fright feast thing.
Regarding transport, have you considered driving? Thats what we did, honestly it aint that bad at all. We just stayed the night and drove back to orlando the next day, download the orlando maps via google maps to your phone and you cannot go wrong. Getting an uber from tampa to orlando seems expensive. |

We wanted to do this on our most recent trip but the transport was an issue for us so had to give it a miss as we didn’t have a car.
We had thought about doing the same as you, getting the free bus transfer and staying all day with an Uber home but we just couldn’t justify paying $100+. I even asked at our hotel to see if there was alternatives but were advised that it’s uber or drive yourself. Next time we go we will be hiring a car as we are really really keen to go to this event, just a shame there isn’t an option for a later bus transfer on the nights Howl-O-Scream is on. |

Seriously it is worth hiring a car for . I would probably get the Holiday inn for a night so you can enjoy it
