Dreaming, Then The Beach Club Day 6

Day 6 - Sept 6th.

Today was check out / check in day again - luckily we were staying in the same room this time, but we still had to go down to the desk because our DDP kicked in today, we got our upgraded bands and were given some extra Disney luggage tags.
Before going into Epcot we collected our refillable mugs, and had breakfast - bagels in the solarium.
It was another scorcher today, and we did the obligatory photos as we walked through a quiet UK and Canada, and went over to Future World first, the Land pavilion, where we had a free choc at the Ghirardelli pop up shop, went on Living With the Land and Soarin' - one of our favourites, then walked onto it again, getting the front row this time.
We also spent quite a while in the Seas, going on Nemo and checking out the manatees and the exhibits. We called into the Art of Disney on the way to Spaceship Earth - and resisted buying anything - then played the games afterwards.
We knew we'd be back a couple of times, so wandered back over to the World Showcase, stopping at Club Cool on the way for the very last time, as it closed next day! and watched the dancing fountains which were also closed next day. .
Instead of doing all the pavilions, we headed to China for lunch at the Lotus Blossom and to watch Reflections of China and see the Exhibition, then over to Germany for a Schofferhoffer and a shared caramel apple before heading back to BC and another few lazy hours round the pool. Too hot to spend all day in the parks!
Later in the evening we went along to Martha's Vineyard where there was live music on. We had a few drinks and a huge plate of 'chips and dip'. There was hardly anyone in there so the singer, barman and DH ended up debating cricket v baseball which including making plans with napkins and straws. I finished the dip off! 🤣

Another lovely day. You look like you've chosen the same magic band as I have. Have I missed something along the way - is Club Cool closed for good? I was looking forward to letting the kids and grandkids taste a bit of Beverley. Something else they've missed out on. Such a shame, and the dancing fountains. I realise things have to be changed and upgraded but these were surely 2 family favourites! Sorry to rant. I'm really enjoying your report.

Thankyou. Yes,
Club Cool won't be reopening. The front of Epcot (fountains, starbucks, some other bits etc) are all closed off now by hoardings. Spaceship Earth is closing soon too. The work is going to take 2 years.

I love the luggage tags! Did you order them specially? I’ve never seen them for sale, but have noticed them on other people’s backpacks.

The luggage tags are the ones given to US guests, we got them because we'd booked the extra nights while in the US I think, and they get that card for the 'Magical Extras.' rather than the little booklet we get sent.
The usual tags that get sent out for UK guests are the more childlike bright character ones - we'd already had those at home.
