Extra morning hours over Christmas - when will we know?

I’m due to book my fastpasses next weekend

I’ve been keeping an eye on the park hours and when I compared them to last year I noticed that over Christmas Magic Kingdom opened a lot earlier than is listed this year.
Can anyone remember when the park hour change was announced at all? Im secretly hoping for extra morning hours in Hollywood studios (as it will be fully open by then) and it impacts on which fastpasses I choose and when. I’m aware that this is currently offered until November, so maybe if I wish hard enough they’ll roll it out for December.

Well they added them to November this morning. So I would expect December to change this time next month.

We were the same as you last Christmas (without the madness of Galaxies Edge). We had booked fastpasses for HS on Christmas Day which opened at 9 and didn't change. They altered MK opening to 6am for EMH so just went there first and then headed to HS for opening.

I'm not normally an EMH fan but they were brilliant over Christmas, don't know if they will do it again but the 2am closure and 2nd fireworks on the 30th at MK were an absolute highlight.
