Premier inn airport way

Did I read its walking distance? Were going from the south terminal. Hoping to drive to the hotel. Walk over to drop our bags in, walk back. The next day drive to the airport and use Gatwick valet parking. Is this a good plan? X x

Edited at 07:25 PM. Reason: Need to put terminal in

Yep, its about 5 or 10 mins walk.

Cross the road by the Petrol station next door, and there is a pavement to the North Terminal.

Easy

You cant walk to South.

Do the North walk and get the Transit train. Equally as easy...get the train back to North and walk back up.

There is a shuttle bus but it will cost you and unless its raining, its fine to walk.

We always use the Airport Way Premier Inn. Its a 5 to 10 minute walk to the terminal, then a quick transit train to the north terminal. The food is good and if you keep checking you could get a great deal. I booked 4 rooms in January for our trip next month at £32.50 per room

Just to jump in on this but can anybody say when the transit train runs to the south terminal as I will be getting an early flight and wondered if the transit train runs all night or what.

We had an early flight to Mexico last October and it was running at 7am.
