how so? there's more to cinema than marvel/disney movies and endless sequels/reboots, you just have to dig a little deeper. go visit your local independent cinema and watch a few films there and tell me it is dying... or go find a duplass brothers movie on netflix!

I saw it last weekend, amazing movie and Joaquin deserves an Oscar, I really hope he'll be nominated.

We saw the joker yesterday and enjoyed it. It is quite dark and I said our dd14 wouldn't like it even when she does turn 15.

Haven't found much to watch at the cinema with our unlimited cards lately and it's annoying as they never seem to put films on early in the day now. DH is off on Wednesday's but there hasn't been anything on before 1.50 this week. Joker was on at 2.30.

DD17 will be pleased - she is going to see Joker this weekend and relishes "dark" movies for some reason...

Ready Or Not was great by the way!

Not seeing the Joker as I really don't like DC.

I still have to see Ready Or Not.

You should give Joker a chance, it has more in common with classic Martin Scorsese movies like Taxi Driver than any DC or superhero movie...
