Medication & parks?
Quick question: can I take tablets in a small medication box into Disney/Universal?
My brother has to take 3 tablets each morning & night to control his epilepsy & DD has to take 1 tablet per night. We’ll be in the parks at the time of each morning & evening dosage most days. I don’t want to have to carry each of the tablet boxes around with me & risk them falling out at some point & losing them. I’ve got a small medication dosage box that will fit the 3 of the medications in each day but it just occurred to me will I be able to take it into the parks or will we have issues if we dont have the proper medication boxes? |

They never said anything to us when we went in with our meds and inhalers.

I’ve never had any issues either and I have to take quite a lot with me each day so I don’t carry the medication boxes around either.

There is no particular procedure for bringing medication into the parks.
The only situations where you might face scrutiny with medications are if: - Your medication is in a glass bottle. The Walt Disney World website states that glass bottles, other than baby food jars and perfume bottles, are not allowed to be brought into the parks. However, exceptions will also be made for prescription medication. - Guests whose medications require them to have needles or other sharps, should declare this to the security guard. Medicines in tablet form won't raise any eyebrows. |

Just to be on the safe side I would ask your local pharmacy for a small plastic bottle with a prescription label on it.
You don’t want to take all the medication out with you in case it gets lost etc |

They are completely uninterested in whatever medication you need to carry. They don't even look twice at the double pack of EpiPens I carry for my daughter.
There is absolutely no need to carry original prescription containers with you to the parks.

Excited about Disney
|
My medication comes in blister packs so I cut them up so I just take what I need with me, all fits nicely in the inside pocket of my bag and the packaging keeps them safe.
