Ditto what The Wizard has said above. We got there on Friday 20th September for 7.30am and did Galaxys Edge after walk on RnRC and ToT, Smugglers Run as single rider with a 5-10 minute wait, Toy Story Land with a 15 minute wait for Toy Story Mania.

We did all we wanted and more and left at 11.30am

Just back today and rope dropped parks every day we went including HS. I felt it was worth it as we got on everything very early. My Advice however - if you go in at that time don’t go to Galaxies Edge. We went the first time and it was fine, but I felt going and doing ToT and RnR first and then Galaxies Edge later was more time efficient, which we done the second time.

The parks were definitely a lot busier this year than previous years but we were able the navigate around attractions fine.

We went in at about 6:45 on Friday. Although the majority of us are huge Star Wars fans we decided to go and do Slinky Dog first as the kids were desperate to do it. We did that then toy story mania then headed over to get the kids into the Jedi training. They got on the first showing. We then headed to star tours and back to do swirling saucers then the Jedi training. Then we headed to galaxy’s edge. We waited for maybe 30 mins to get on smugglers run so not bad at all. We had a reservation for Ogas at 4:45. Very expensive but cool to see.
For us this worked out perfectly rather than heading in there first.

As above, no need to go to GE at 6am, in fact it tends to be busier then. We checked wait times our first day and decided not to bother going for 6am on our DHS day. Wait times for Smugglers Run we’re lower after 7.

We had it scheduled in our plan but a few days earlier decided on an impromptu evening trip to HS and Smugglers Run was a 30 minute wait. So we went on it then and had a lovely lie in on the day instead!

My brother went yesterday, got to park at 530, entered at 6; was on and off smugglers run within 20 minutes. He said it was good to get photos at this time as quieter but in the darkness!

We did exactly that, took advantage of our jet lag when we woke at 4am. Got to HS for 5:45 and joined the crowd down the Main Street in HS. They then have a Star Wars themed rope drop. You end up marching with storm troopers to smugglers run. Straight on that and then we ended up doing all the main rides including SDD in 2 hours and then we left!

For us it was worth it, everyone else if different but if your up anyways may as well make the most of it.

I think the Star Wars themed entrance has finished now. They done it on our first day but didn’t in October so we thought they may have stopped it.

It was really cool though.

I think our plan will be to go at 6am in our first couple of days whilst we are still waking early. If we get all the rides done that we want we can always cancel the fastpasses we have for our HS days and head elsewhere instead. Maybe more eating and drinking in Epcot
