The Met : Policing London

Anyone watching this on Thurs (10th) might see my nephew, a police officer ( not a villain ).

The film crew spent the day with his group last April.

It's on BBC 1, 9pm this coming Thurs.

No sign of him, but he’s based in another area of London. (Linda is my sister, so my nephew too)!

He now tells me his team was in the first episode but the bit of film he appeared in was edited out !

He works in one of the teams that's sent into areas to support the local police. They turn up in big white vans, usually wearing fire proof overalls. He loves it. His fiancée is in the same group - she is fierce, you wouldn't want to upset her !

He's starting a " long week" shift in Westminster today, policing the extinction protesters.
