Universal Aventura Hotel - any tips?
Hi,
Myself and DH are staying for 2 weeks at the Aventura Hotel in November 2019. We stayed at HRH, RPR and PBH previously -any tips or recommendations for staying at the Aventura please? We've booked a standard queen room. Thanks

Yes,
You can get the river taxi at sapphire falls- just go into their hotel and use the lift to the ground floor and remember your room key. The bus they give you from Adventura to the parks takes absoluely ages in comparison. Volcano bay is literally a five minute walk from the hotel pool-so handy. The food at the urban pantry is surprisingly really good and you adbsoluely have to gave drinks at bar 17( on the rooftop) it is stunning- you can can also see all of the fireworks from the disney parks. Have fun it is an amazing hotel p.s- you can also pool hop to the other universal hotels on site, so you can see how the other half live so to speak |

Thanks for the tip about the boat from Sapphire Falls. Will definitely give that a try.

yes just go into the sapphire falls reception which is across from Avdentura then either use the stairs or the lift.
Its sooo much nicer and quicker than the bus- its like being on a ride and great way to start your day. |

We stayed at Easter and really liked it. Ask for as high a floor as possible when you check in - they upgraded us to a skyline room and the views were stunning.
I agree that Urban Pantry was good and it was handy having a Starbucks as well. We didn't have resort mugs but filled up our park ones with iced water in Urban Pantry. The pool was nice as was the hot tub. We used the boat at Sapphire Falls.

Yes. We’ve stayed twice now and figured this out towards the end of our first stay. When using the pool, don’t stay on the deck with the pool-it’s a literal wind trap! Instead, use the deck at the bottom of the steps-which houses the hot tub! (Also this is where the gate is that leads directly onto the volcano bay queue). Bliss! 😊
