If i hear bloody beeping at 5.30 am they will have a very grumpy me at there desk.
I wake at the slightest noise as does my daughter, if she doesn't get a good rest she struggles all day.

We have preferred booked so should be in Trinidad North but with so many people getting moved I guess we could be anywear.

We are a bit torn really. We like the location as we are right next to the vending and shop and we have two adjoining rooms. There’s 6 of us and no one else seems bothered. I need to pick up a package from concierge today so will try and have the courage to say something! We were Trinidad north last year and had no bother at all about the construction

I’m sure they stated quite clearly that there would be no noise until 8am? But then again they also stated quite clearly that it would be finished end of Aug. Maybe the late fall date is slipping. Or they meant late fall 2019.

Online the announcement said that no noise should be hrard from the rooms between Dusk and 9am.

I was there 3 weeks ago, only went to reception mind. I was surprised at just how dominating the DVC was, huge building going up, and all the construction on the right as you go in.
I didn't look around the resort but saw Tim Tracker's recent video.
Personally unless I was getting a very hefty discount I would not stay there- however, it looks as though a few areas (Jamaica from memory from the video?) look to be fine when you are in the resort, as long as you can live with the tent for a food court etc.
By summer 2019 it should be much less intrusive, so I wouldn't be overly concerned if I was going next summer.

On the videos that are coming out of all the construction, it looks a nightmare. The great big pillars for the Skyway look so intrusive on what was a beautiful resort. As your in your quiet pool you will have the Skyway going right over you. I hope they know what they are doing. So many people are unhappy with all this. Looks so ugly. Cant really see the need for it myself.

Now having some doubts about our visit in April ‘19 too based on what people are saying they’re hearing and seeing there
I used to love the resort but am wondering whether to change 🤔

Only options that we have around the price range are AKL (too far from everything for me despite it being a beautiful resort) and POFQ (not sure how it compares to CBR)
POR is fully booked and I’m not a fan of CS

Apart from the Riveria and gondolas I thought everything else would be finished by April ‘19 now I’m not so sure

Famous last words and all that - However I cant see the OPR area not being ready by April 19.

I believe it will be done by the end of this year. From the various videos you can see that they are now focusing on the internal works of the main area and that stuff they typically fly through.

I feel you should be fine... but as I started don't hold me to it.
