Smugglers run has a much higher hourly capacity than Hagrid (even when Hagrid is is eventually running at full capacity) plus Hagrid is currently running at best half its intended capacity plus smugglers so far has been much more reliable than Hagrids. California’s has run pretty well since opening with not many breakdown issues.

We were able to get a DAS return time and enter via the Fastpass line due to my daughter's disability. After the initial passholder previews there aren't any special privileges for Annual Passholders.

You don't, really, unless it's particularly crowded. On opening day, you could get one through the MDE app, just clicked a button and you got a push notification when it was your 'time to board', but they haven't used this since the first day.

If they are required (they haven't been since the opening day so far) then you do it via MDE. When you open the app there is currently a box saying "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Status and Access". Click on that and the option to join will be available if it required (you must be in the park to join a boarding group - although it was glitchy the other day, and people on here apparently managed to join without even being in Florida!) If you don't see the box in MDE, you probably need to update your app.

Crowds are very low at the moment and are probably the lowest you'll ever see nowadays. It's probably mainly due to Dorian putting people off but also I expect some people stayed away because they were worried WDW would be stupidly busy due to GE opening (that didn't come to pass). Also, as you say, some people will be waiting until the main attraction opens in December.

I would expect crowds to be busier in December.

We did a second ride on Smugglers run today, standard queue was 70 mins, 2 of us went in the single rider and was on the ride together (engineers) within 10 minutes

Just back today from Orlando. Family not too impressed by Smugglers tbh, unless you are a pilot you kind of don’t fully get immersed in the experience as you are watching for flashing lights etc rather than watching the screen . Highlight for us was me leading the queue ( sorry line) in a singalong if Queens we will rock you with a cast member to alleviate the boredom .It involved lots of clapping and stamping feet but the line seemed to enjoyed it and passed a bit of time !😵

Friday 6th
Strolled in and out of Galaxy's Edge was we wanted. There was a 40minute wait posted for Smugglers Run but was more like 25mins and then went to Oga (you still need a reservation to get in) and this was nice and relaxed too.

I was worried that THIS September was going to be busy but its the same as EVERY September - kids in UK and US are back to school and its niiiiiiice and quiiiiiiet!

Also Slinky Dog Dash was a 35min posted time and took 15
