How much for a man's haircut?

Hubs wasn't happy with the hairdresser in the next village, nor a haircut in Fl, I was horrified when she took the clippers and hacked his lovely head of hair, an appalling cut. I now cut it, use the clippers on the back and hairdressing scissors to layer the top/sides.

He no longer whinges, it's a free cut and the threat of requiring surgery for another hernia did the trick

My barbers charge £16.0 and ive been using them for that last 10+ years

My son pays £10 and hubby £11 at my salon. Barbers is a few quid cheaper but no appointments.

My Wife's hairdresser friend comes to our house.

She cuts my hair in 5 mins flat with clippers. Not that there is much left to cut!
Charges £4.

She does mine whilst my Wife is waiting for colour to take on her hair or whatever you Ladies do. Bits of foil everywhere.

I go to a friends Barbers in Yarm, I get Hair & Beard styled, for a Head Barber to do both its around 45.

This may apply elsewhere. I don't know but it may help.

My Son uses a Barber that trains Students. If he pre books and is prepared to allow a Student to do his hair it's free. All he does is tip.

There are a few other places not far from me that do similar promotions albeit not free, maybe a £1 or £2.

DH refuses to go the cheap barber places. He goes to the hair dresser round the corner and pays £20. There was a barber he liked when we lived in Sheffield but that was still £20. He does have a lot of hair though so I guess at least he's getting his money's worth...
