Making Plan B and Plan C!

I was due to fly to DC on 19th and I have that message too, I fully expect my flight to still go ahead taking US citizens back so in which case I will apply for the voucher but I am holding off until Tuesday or Wednesday to do this as it can be done anytime until check in closes

I’m planning on re-scheduling for November so if I have to have a voucher that’s ok.

FCO have just announced only essential travel to US, so hoping our flights will be refunded now.

Fingers crossed. We had a 2 night hotel stay pre-cruise and I can’t find out whether that would be refunded on any of my BA documentation.

Have checked the hotel website too and nothing on there either, so that may end up being an insurance claim for me. My airport hotel is about the only other thing that doesn’t seem to be refundable - think they’re about the only chain that haven’t changed their policy to be more flexible. Would happily transfer the booking to another location, as it’s actually for the night of DH’s 50th, just would rather not spend it at Heathrow now.

BA are giving us a full refund, just got the email, I am pleased at their level of customer service and feel emotional that they might be at risk of going under from all this.

Did that include your hotel Louise? I’m still waiting for my email. Can see lots of Dibbers have had theirs now, so hopefully won’t be too much longer.

Yes, everything if I read it correctly, they said ‘holiday’ not ‘flights’

We will be processing a full refund of your British Airways Holidays. This will be returned to your original payment card within the next 7 days, but may take a few more days to show on your statement. We will endeavour to process the refund sooner than this but due to the unprecedented volumes of affected bookings it will take some time to work through these. Thank you for your understanding. We were due to fly on the 4th April with virgin and heard nothing of a refund and the flight still showing as operating. Also RCL say they are sailing again on April 11th which is the day we were due to board so at the minute can only get credit... am going to hang fire as I am sure it will be cancelled.
