VH applying flying club discount to rearranged 2021 booking

Hi all.
I currently have approx. Ł1,000 worth of hotel only bookings with VH and Ł600 car hire.
While the car hire is free cancellation the hotel only bookings wouldn't get me any money back if I cancelled.
I have been toying with the idea of rearranging to a 20 night fly drive next August, costing Ł5k (gone up Ł250 since last week)

I'm a flying club red member, has anyone been in the situation where rearranging their booking they've asked for flying club discount to be applied as it's a different package?

We rearranged ours last week from Oct to June 2021 and the lady confirmed with me I was part of flying club and took the discount off. We are still under the same booking reference too

i rearranged my trip from this year to 2021 and she applied our flying club discount no problem, same booking reference still too.

Yep we transfered FC discount .. mind it didn’t come off on the original quote but did once we were ready to book ... I’m not sure if that was because it was a complicated booking x
