Mobile Highs and lows

1 week in Hard Rock, 2nd week and in Yacht Club. All parks included.

Well, the lows are simple. Schoolboy error in wearing the wrong footwear, so a big big blister prevented me walking without constant whingeing for 3 days.

What was not my fault, was the Mnsshhp. An absolute rip off. We already had park tickets, and - as in previous years - bought these to ensure a quieter night in MK with easy access to rides. (as in 2016).

Nah - absolutely heaving. 45 min wait on Haunted Mansion? Got on after 10 mins in 2016. So, may as well have gone in on another night to see the parade and fireworks. Appreciate they are different, but we paid for a relaxing night, with shorter wait times.

Plus points include 2 fabulous hotels, all the Universal parks, Busch and HS and AK. Virgin were good too.

Wrong footwear? Crocs all the way ... ugliest footwear in the world and unfashionable, but ain’t nothing as comfy!
Sorry to hear you had long queues.

Skechers. Normally fine, but I think I'm getting delicate in my old age.

Preach brother !

I swear by Crocs at Disney, always comfortable and great if caught in the rain.

I always end up buying crocs at Disney, but they’re not the clog style they’re sandals which are soooo comfy.

I too got an enormous blister on the sole of my foot from wearing Sketchers in Disney. It was agony! I ended up wearing thick Adidas ankle socks and my Nikes and it was blissful.
I know lots of people rave about them for walking in the parks and I had worn them at home tons before but oh my god, those things wrecked my poor feet.

Sorry to hear about your long waits. Probably won't make you feel any better then if I tell you that the week after the parks were much quieter and I even got onto Space Mountain with only a ten minute wait in the middle of the day

...and I always wear Crocs too...
