Virgin Holidays - Call Back Waiting Period
Hi
We are due to fly to Disney Florida first week in August 2020. We have completed the forms on the Virgin website to postpone our trip to 2021. We have still not heard back from Virgin so do not know if our trip is still going ahead or postponed to later date yet. How long before departure date have Virgin been contacting travellers to discuss the re-arrangement or cancellation of their holidays. Many thanks. |

We're due 8th August, hotel only and car hire. Filled in form online after receiving an email from them. I then sent a message via messenger. I had an automated reply. I want to swap for fly drive. Eventually got a message from Marc who said someone will be in touch. That was about a week ago. Showing as not read on messenger. The price of the fly drive has gone up by £250 since last week 😢

Thank you for the replies.
Does anyone know what rights we have if they don,t come back to us, and they say we have to go on the holiday? |

If your holiday is due to start before 30 September 2020 or has been affected by flight schedule changes, you can postpone your holiday to any date up until 31 December 2021. You can even choose a different destination. We won’t charge you to make these changes, but your new holiday will be subject to availability and any potential fare differences. Just make sure you make any changes before 21 days of your planned departure date, there may be additional charges under our standard terms and conditions.
This is what is on VH website, need to do before 21 days. But on another page it says they prioritising departures 14 days beforehand. ? |

Noodle 500, thank you, but what if Virgin don't come back before 14/21 days. Where do we stand. We will obviously call them. Do we still have to go on the holiday?

Filled the amend form beginning of May, filled the Disney amend form that came out a few weeks ago. Nothing. Flight was due out outbound 29th July. That flight was cancelled by VA yesterday. Still no official VH email or update to the amend form. Oh and balance was due 6th May which we have not paid. Last night got an email from Disney saying make sure I book our reservations on Monday.

I find it weird that on Manage my Booking now it shows this:
I’ve tried to contact via WhatsApp and text and I’ve had no response via WhatsApp (just the automated message) but on text they’re just saying they’re prioritising by date order. I read that someone on here was called but they were due to travel in September wanting to change to January? I don’t understand which date their prioritising on as we are due in August. |
