Would you eat the random grapes?

Just found a bag of grapes on my doorstep. No note and no idea who left them...

I’m thinking aww how lovely and want to eat them, my husband is very suspicious and has quarantined them in the utility until we know who they are from.

Is that the difference between Northerners and Southerners?

Would you eat the random grapes?

Well, I'm not north or south - more west - and no I wouldn't rush to eat the grapes! What's their history? What's their intention? Stay 1m away from them until they re-emerge from quarantine!

P.S. Was there a note with them that had blown away somewhere nearby? And are they well packed so as to have protected them from concrete doorstep?

Can we get some more information please - in particular, are either of you considered to be enemies of the Russian state?

Yep. A good wash and no problem.

Northerner with no enemies (that I know about, not sure about DH)

I had a bottle of champagne left on my step last week.

I thought it was from my neighbour who doesn't drink anymore but sometimes gets gifts of wine that she passes on.

We enjoyed the champers but when I thanked her she said she hadn't left it!

I’d fight harder to drink the champagne than I am to eat the grapes. 🥂v’s 🍇 no contest, you win in the random gifts left on doorsteps!
I did think it might be my neighbour- she sometimes leaves things she’s grown- but I don’t think she has a vine and they looked shop bought!
