Steam mop on laminate flooring

Amazon have got a great deal on a Shark steam mop but we aren't sure if it is suitable for laminate flooring

Can anyone help ?

No, not recommended.

I guess you could use one and be very careful and ensure the laminate is dry straight after. But still risky. Certainly wouldn’t risk it on a new’ish or expensive floor

My steam mop pushes out incredible heat - I wouldn’t let it near laminate as it could buckle and damage it (I dont have laminate but hard floors)

Ive been using my steam mop on laminate for years with no problems, and real wood in my hallway again no problems.

We use a steam mop on laminate and haven't had any problems either.

Yes use my steam mop on laminate tile and hardwood floor and occasionally on my kardean although a lot as it’s not recommended but it’s been fine for years

Steam mop warped the edges of ours. You need to dry it off immediately.

My wife uses it on ours no issue- and our real wood laminated floor in our conservatory.
