My Wife paid and used Lloyd's Pharmacy

She isn't eligible for the free one as she is under 60 so as in previous years always pays.

Sad to say a lot of places don't currently have any stock but that will ease soon.

It generally isn’t available to purchase, I had a look last week. Supplies have all gone to those that qualify on NHS or businesses that have bought for employees.

We had ours at Boots - nice and easy and you can pay and book a slot online. But I think they have stopped taking bookings for now due to stock. Check your local supermarket and chemists. Last week we noticed our garden centre was doing them.

I had mine yesterday at GP surgery. This year the doctor was telling me there are 4 different types for adults, one for over 65 (plenty of stock) and three for adults under that and the GP choose the best fit form your medical records - they are in incredible short supply in England and certainly think it best to contact your GP . Mine was free but you can get them from your practice for a fee (but only available after all those at risk have had theirs)

Double check as it did say on the news over 50’s were getting them on the NHS. This is for England though so not 100% for Wales (can’t see it being any different though)

Edited to add I am 53 now and had mine done 3rd October, but I do having underlying health issues.

Jane

It appears that it's not formalised in Wales yet as the GP Surgery isn't including those, just the over 65's.

Plus the Pharmacies are charging still for that group.

Not an issue though for the small cost.
