My reply to the OP suggested free pre-bookable seating, as I know she has 2 children with additional needs. It would definitely qualify the whole family for seat selection if she booked with BA. Not all airlines offer it (which we have found out to our cost with an Iberia booking!) but most will.

Suitcases dusted off...

I've been reading this post through to today's posts. We've booked with BA for September, for flight and hotel, for our 5th trip in 8 years. Like everyone in here, we will do whatever is required to book our seats on the plane to Orlando.
We got our pricing in the Sale in December and, for two adults, it was £800 cheaper than TUI and Virgin in their sales. We didn't expect to be going again this year after going last year. Where there's a will... I don't understand the lease car being left for a month issue (surely safer than being left in a drive or roadside). I do understand the car being too small... hence the train/coach/hire car options being suggested. All great suggestions and low budget costs. I'm also not understanding why the Disney transfers are required? Are you staying in a Disney Resort? Did I miss that? A month there must be a bank breaker. Suggestions of three weeks are valid. Or maybe a cheaper Disney Resort if it has to be Disney. We're not fans of in-direct, it's our holiday and we want it as easy as possible. We once flew from Bristol and landed in Manchester to pick up more passengers - no exiting the plane. That was not fun - I'd have paid a few hundred pounds extra to have not had to do that. My suggestion ... get to Orlando how ever you need to. If it's less time but gives everything you want/need, go for less time. If you need a month - so many excellent ideas here but they'll need you to flex more. |
