Anybody due to fly back with Thomas cook?

We are due to fly back to Manchester next Tue 3rd Sep.
Woke up to an email from TC to change flights as MCO is closed next Mon & Tue.
However after 40mins on hold, I’ve just been told that no need to ring (as the email states) and we’ll be automatically put on the next available flight.
“Just wait for the email” I was told...let’s hope we still have electricity and wifi after it hits then?!

Anyone else returning with TC?
Need to get an extension to the car hire, hotel and Manchester car parking, but not sure when to do this.

Yes we are with TC but flying Wed 4th into Manchester.
Haven’t had an email yet though. Their update states that they’ll review Wednesdays flight in the week...
We’ve been chatting to the Tiki Bar owner who said to just call at reception regarding the room but as it’s so quiet she can’t see a problem...
All she did say was to stay in our room and close drapes etc and make sure we have enough food as all will be closed and we won’t be able to drive anywhere!
Thinking on ringing the car hire company to see what we need to do ( if anything)

We were delayed by 3 days coming back with Irma. Alamo closed and wouldn't accept any car returns but we phoned them beforehand and they just said they would extend our rental. When we returned the car we just had to go into the office and they cancelled the late charges.
As for Manchester Airport car parking - we were with Meet and Greet and I emailed them to say we would be delayed and the reason why. When I went to pick up my keys and pay the additional car parking charges they just gave me the key and advised there wouldn't be any charges. I offered to pay but they wouldn't hear of it.
Both companies were fantastic and the customer service great. That's why every time since I have booked the airport Meet and Greet and Alamo.
