I think we’re aiming for 6 ish.
Took me bloomin’ ages to remove all the leftover quills from the turkey which I hadn’t counted on! Next door’s cat is having the best day ever rolling in them. It’s like catnip it seems (OH shook the towel the turkey was on outside before shoving in the wash and they’re everywhere 🤦🏼) The beast is now in the oven! Have a wonderful day everyone xx

Managed to get it served on time,finished just in time for DS to watch the queens speech. I’ve closed the kitchen door and will wash up in a bit.

When we are hungry, probably about 6. Too many years being to a timetable on Christmas Day. We now do what we want !

Same here! Christmas Day should surely be a day to please ourselves? Everyone is so busy throughout the year. It’s a day to go slow IMO

Planned ours for 1.30, ate at 1.35, was soooo good. (Even if I say so myself), now stuffed and colouring in the colour in tablecloth, art therapy, stops me climbing the walls, if dh mum says the classic "what film was he in?" again I will screeeeeeeeeam...

Still waiting for ours...if we a were on our own with Ds1..it would be about 3.30.
But we are waiting for our DG1 Who has one dinner in her other Nans first then one at ours about 7...not a problem ...but her being vegan makes me want to go out for a meal next year! |

About 2:30ish for xmas dinner and about 21:00 ish for our Turkey sandwiches ,warm mince pies and cream. In between drinking and nibbling all sorts of muck and rubbish. Love it.

We had ours at 1pm today, had my mum and her partner over, just starting round two now cos in laws are on way over for a buffet around 6pm... this is just stuff I'm lobbing in oven though cos I'm beyond knackered now... Christmas day always feels like longest day ever
