Disney springs resort area hotels?
Hello so after a truely magical trip last year we would love to return in 2021. We have only ever stayed onsite before but looking at the prices on attraction tickets direct next years prices look steep! We do not want to hire a car if possible so was thinking of a springs hotel such as the doubletree- does anyone have any experience of these and whats the shuttle service to the parks like?
Thanks for any info Nat |

Sorry I cannot answer the question you actually asked.
But I thought it would be worth pointing out that Disney have not yet released rooms for 2021 yet so anything you currently see offered by a TA is pure guesswork on their part and will undoubtedly include a price buffer for them as they do not know their allocation or prices from Disney. I would wait until Disney releases their rooms and then look again. Nobody knows when this will happen but I would think it would be soon. |

Just to say, if I booked one of these perfectly fine Hotels, I would be walking to the springs and getting a bus to a resort for the parks. After 4 i think, you can get a bus from the parks to the Springs.
So the nearest would suit me, like the Hilton on the corner of HP Blvd. Disney332 Disney332

Hotel plaza boulevard
Hi we have stayed in a couple of these hotels and the shuttles run to the park every half hour.We loved the fact we could just walk up to crossroads and enjoy non Disney food and also walk the other way for our disney fix.

Hi I stay at Hilton BVP Disney Springs. I like it as I feel best of both worlds, early entry into parks, across rd from Springs but also a safe walk up to Crossroads with plentry of places to eat that are non disney. Watch the resort charges though, they can be high.
I go in November, so not sure if disney transport changes in high season, but I get a coach twice per hour, picks up at two other hotels my side ( think the same on the other side of the plaza), this is a good service though I have to be honest and say that the transfers don't always run to time! Also at parks after 4 you can get disney transport to Springs which Is very useful. I would say that crossroads is due for demolition which is such a shame, the date keeps being set back but would hate you booking with no car and hoping to walk there often only to find out it is no more!. Stayed at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace - bus service is every 30 mins but it goes to two parks so can take a while but you can Uber/Lyft cheaply from there.
The Hotel Plaza Blvd hotels have two routes with I think 3 hotel so each route. The Walk to DS is nice though. |
