st Michaels Mount - dogs?

Just wondering if anyone can clarify the situation with dogs and St Michaels Mount. So it seems that dogs are not permitted anywhere on the Mount either the gardens or castle, or shops etc due to Covid.
Also the beach surrounding the Mount is only dog friendly after 6pm? (Finding conflicting info on this)
So just wondering if it’s worth doing an evening stroll in the area if the dogs can access the beach then. Will we be able to see much? Are we allowed to walk up to the Mount if the tide is low at that time of evening?
