Has anyone heard when typhoon lagoon may open again please?

Last report I saw (a couple weeks ago) the pools were still drained, and they filed several construction permits last month, so I don't think it will be any time soon as it would make sense to complete that work while it's empty.

If I was to guess, they're probably not aiming for until they need to close Blizzard Beach for its seasonal maintenance. So maybe September/October, depending how early they close BB this year.

I think most people prefer typhoon lagoon (us included) so I�m surprised they decided to keep that one closed.

There were photos doing the rounds recently which showed a fairly large landslide on the berm which hides the plant machinery from view (looking like it took out some equipment in the process). So I guess there must have been a fair bit of work to do in order to reopen.

Seeing as they failed to reopen it before the peak summer water park season, my bet is it will not reopen until the winter when they need to close blizzard beach for maintenance. (And that next spring we will be back to two Disney water parks
