Will you book a trip straight away?

When the announcement is made (whenever that will be) will anyone be booking a trip to go straight away or moving things around to go sooner?

I don't think we will. We have move our Aug 21 trip (which was moved from Aug 20) to Dec 21 and we already have a trip booked for Aug 22. So I think we will stick with those for now. I am gutted my Aug trip isn't going ahead but I was getting a bit worried about the rising cases in the USA as well as the crowd levels with lack of FPs - so even if they open up soon I think we will stick with what we now have booked and see how things go! I will be a bit gutted though if my Aug trip could have happened, I moved everything as soon as the flights were cancelled a couple of weeks ago.

I won't move my currently booked trip, as I specifically want to go at Christmas but not this year. Whether a second trip gets booked in the meantime is another story. Will find it hard to resist if I find a good last minute deal.

But it depends what the announcement is. If it's just borders open but with all the current testing requirements, probably not. Hoping this is reduced/removed for vaccinated, as they're starting to do with the isolation requirements.

We�ve got the same dates going on, SuzyM, Dec 2021 and Aug 2022, although the August one is a back up for when( sorry, IF) December fails to happen.

I don�t think there�s any chance at all in a million years for a change of plan from us- I�d rather it was tried and tested before I blunder my way through any new set up lol

What announcement is that? I cannot follow announcements and updates, they seem to change all the time so I don�t think there is any announcement that would provoke me to do anything.

I have a future trip planned and would not be thinking of doing anything before then.

supposed to be announced soon when US is reopened. I'll be booking a disney staycation cruise because i'm fulling expecting the announcement to say we can't travel for now
