Mobile Dogs and Suffolk (bawdsey)

A friend is letting me stay at his place near bawdsey for a few nights. I’m taking my dog. Anyone know dog friendly beaches or nice walks I should do?

Woodbridge itself is a lovely little town and very very dog friendly, dogs are permitted in most shops and quite a few of the cafes, pubs and restaurants. Trimley St Mary has a nice nature reserve with a circular walk, Aldeburgh is again very pretty and dog friendly. Our 'seaside town' is Southwold, about an hour up the road, as you look to the sea the beach to the right dogs are permitted on all year - there is an icecream shop in Southwold that also sells dog icecream.
There is a nice walk that starts at Snape Malting that goes past farms that should have baby piggies this time of year. Sutton Hoo is just down the road from you, dogs are not allowed inside the main buildings but there is lots to see outside.

Ooo thats my turf! As others have said, Rendlesham Forest well worth a visit, Sutton Heath is also lovely for walking, Felixstowe beaches are dog friendly (you will be the ‘other side’ of Felixstowe beach over at Bawdsey) Ramsholt is lovely to visit, woodbridge, sutton hoo, if you need any recommendations for places to eat, just ask!
