Thanks guys (especially Poohbears for her amazing generosity). I don’t really fancy boating on the broads and it would be a waste of money as I’ve already got a boat.

I was more curious about the cost of renting a narrowboat than actually renting one. I will likely go up the Oxford direction at some point on my boat (the Thames not the canal).

It’s more a 2 bedroom place near the coast we want to hire.

MH I did say Air B and B in my post, I wasn’t meaning a bed and breakfast!

You are going to get me in all sorts of trouble MH, I’ve just offered you a bed in our house in Sunny Devon, as long as you don’t mind middle of the night bed hopping - but sadly I’ve put it on the Savid Javid tweet thread instead! 😂😂😂

I think I will be double checking my postings from now on! 😂😂😂

Never mind the weather up north 🤣 it’s usually nice in September! We have a gorgeous little village nearby Called Sandsend it’s about 2 miles out of Whitby and is lovely! You could take a trip over the north York moors, steam trains at grosmont and much more!
Where ever you go enjoy!

Many apologies I’m not the sharpest tool in the box.

It’s Airbnb that I was looking at.
