Anyone stayed here?

Ive just booked Halloween weekend here for 3 nights as it was reasonably cheap and it will be nice for us and the little ones to get away especially before the arrival of our little one.

The children have never been on a caravan holiday/uk holiday. It’s usually orlando, DLP or Canada haha. So something new for them!

Is there anything people suggest worth doing that’s nearby?
Is the caravan park nice?

I took DS (8) there at Easter after having never been on a caravan holiday before. We had an amazing time and absolutely loved it.There was lots to do on site and you can walk into Filey along the beach,DS just loved riding his scooter around the site and down the steep hill to the beach in the evening too.We had so many activities planned that we only went into Filey on the last day,not sure there would be much to do in the area in October, but there’s loads on site!

Yorkshire’s East coast is generally still alive and kicking during school holidays all year round so don’t worry about nothing to see if you leave the park.

It’s the biggest/busiest Haven park in the area. There’s a few smaller/quieter ones dotted around. It’s very popular with plenty to keep you busy regardless of wether you fancy a day in Scarborough or Bridlington or Filey (Filey being far far smaller than the other two main beach resorts)

I stayed there early October 2020 and we really enjoyed ourselves. It’s a good site, it has an arcade and it’s only a short walk down to the beach too.

We didn’t do much on-site as we mainly went out. We visited Scarborough & Whitby, Whitby is lovely! There’s a lot to do around that part of Yorkshire.
